We went to my brother Aaron's marching band parents show that capped off his week of band camp last Tuesday. They did a great job! And they are playing Phantom of the Opera music this year, so the music was amazing! The best part of the evening was, when we arrived, Zoey was asleep, and we stopped and stood in front of drumline for a good 10 minutes to listen to them warm up and so I could talk to an old highschool friend. Zoey didn't wake up to the noise. She barely flinched!!I have a drummer in the making... :) Gramma of course would not give up the kid. Note her tongue sticking out. If her fingers aren't in her mouth, her tongue is out. She was smiling and laughing, and as soon as I got the camera out, she stopped and looked away. Of course.
Yesterday, we took our first trip on the light rail. We were timing and testing the travel time to see if it is going to be the best way for Spencer to get to ASU. It took up longer to drive to the park and ride than to ride to ASU, so looks like it's going to be great! Then we walked down to the buildings where Spencer's classes are, and then ended up walking around a lot of campus, then back to the light rail and home! It was a fun Friday outing for the fam :)

Ok Finally! Marching Band, ASU, and More!
Then, last night, we met up with our friends Taylor and Kristin and their daughter Julia at Cheesecake Factory for dessert (no pics from then, Zoey was screaming half the time...), then back to their place to hang out. Here's some pics of the babies together. They are almost the same size now!
